Majority of customer’s buying decisions are based on emotional factors so it’s essential that you’re creating genuine, lasting emotional connections with your customers. A customer journey map is a great tool to help identify places where you can best make those emotional connections.

Lack of trust

An unknown brand/business means unknown quality and risk. Trust can be hard to build especially online so try to build rapport with existing customers by encouraging loyalty, repeat purchases and word of mouth.

It’s not front of mind

Did you know customers have to see something on average 7x before making the decision to buy something? Get your name out there! Actively build brand awareness around your offerings via interacting in online communities & Facebook groups or build an email list where you can share a bit about your products/services every now and then.

Complicated process

Your initial offer might be amazing, but customers can become easily discouraged when it comes to a complicated buying process. Break down your offer to make it as clear as possible, for example:

  • How will this benefit potential customers?
  • What’s included in the offer?
  • What’s happens after they sign up/buy?
