World Square is a retail, accommodation, office and residential complex in the heart of Sydney’s bustling CBD, home to unique culinary experiences, a wide range of retailers and drawing in millions of local and international visitors each year.
In early 2023, The Team from World Square approached us seeking assistance in managing their social media accounts. They were looking for a Sydney-based agency to help establish more on-site partnerships, to capture content that was always unfolding at the busy complex, unlike previous interstate agencies. They wanted to enhance World Square’s social media presence by growing their following and sharing engaging and edgy content.
They were eager to capitalise on influencer campaigns, photoshoots, and giveaways managed by our team, to foster a sense of excitement and community on social media. They knew the WSQ brand was about experience and wanted a partner that could bring this to life.

Services
Marketing & Digital Strategy – We developed a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for World Square, which encompasses both paid ads and organic social media strategies to suit the centre’s unique marketing needs. We worked alongside their head of marketing, and developed and implemented influencer & UGC campaigns, promotional campaigns, as well as an elevated organic social strategy.
Social Media & Content Management – The Wise Up team manages World Square’s Instagram and Facebook accounts with a combined following of +25K, overseeing everything from photoshoots and influencer collaborations to assistance with on major launches within the centre. We also manage World Square’s TikTok account, growing it from scratch with engaging video content. Our team regularly captures & creates content for new retailers in the centre, and works alongside the head of marketing to share monthly competitions for the shopping centre and special offers from retailers.
Website Design & SEO Management – We completely rebuilt the World Square website both functionally and visually, creating a more user-friendly site for both client and customers. Rebuilding the site from scratch using WordPress, our web development team were able to develop a comprehensive platform that works as a store directory, and events and special offers hub. It was built with a mobile first approach and easily supports the customer on their research and navigation journey around World Square
Social Ads – As part of the social management of TikTok, we launched a TikTok Advertising campaign to boost their reach and engagement and connect with a younger audience that loves to keep up to date with what’s new and trending. We engaged creators on the platform and then strategically backed the content to deliver outstanding growth and engagement outcomes in a short period.

In just a short period we have transformed the social presence into an experience, positioning the brand as the go-to destination for shopping and socialising in the City CBD. Building a cohesive and compelling brand identity in the market that rivals its competitors.
We also made the team’s life that little bit easier! The pre-existing World Square website was largely non-functional, making it difficult for customers to navigate and time-consuming for the team to update, resulting in increased direct enquiries. With a complete website rebuild and strategic feature inclusions, we made the World Square website more user-friendly, giving the team the flexibility to update the site themselves, so they could focus on the big things.

We achieved a combined reach of 115K across Facebook & Instagram for the World Square brand
We made a splash on TikTok and grew the @worldsquaresydney following to almost 2K in 6 months, with 7500 likes and video views well over 1m in total
In mid-2023, we collabed on a content shoot with 3 aligned social-media influencers and over 15 retailers to showcase the World Square dining & entertainment experience.
We took the World Square website from non-functional to phenomenal, rebuilding from scratch and developing a user-friendly and on brand site that elevated the customer & client experience . This has resulted in traffic doubling to around 1000 visitors per month and a reported reduction in calls to customer service as there is up to date information on hand.
