Advertising on Instagram was opened up to all users last year, and to make it super enticing, Facebook integrated Instagram into their ad platform, make it easy to extend your current campaigns across Instagram, and I think for some advertisers perhaps even unknowingly.
Instagram users are starting to take notice! With ad impressions going from 50 million in August to 650 million in December – it’s not surprising!
So what does this mean for your business? Our advice, if you have a business type that suits Instagram, take advantage now, before saturation is reached.
Avoid key periods like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, when there will naturally be increased brands fighting for the limited space available in the feed.
