In-house socials and Digital Marketing fine-tuning saw results

With our strategic direction, we increased Roc Eyewear’s Google revenue and conversions by 44% and 43% respectively, attracted thousands of social followers and increased sales by 5% in a tough economic climate. 

Problem

The General Manager from Roc connected over LinkedIn looking for an Ads Manager and we commenced managing their Google and Facebook Ads campaigns for ROC Eyewear and Locello Eyewear. It quickly became apparent that what the brand needed was an overall strategic direction and Mary-Anne was engaged as Digital Campaign Manager for both brands.

Here’s how we’ve helped the Roc Brand acheive some big goals over the past 2 years.

Our Objective

Having an over-arching strategic approach and focus on each brand individually has helped to maintain market share, and grow in a tough economic climate. While running their socials in-house, their digital marketing needed a fine-tuned direction and the addition of a paid ads strategy to finally see the results they were looking for.

Solution

Marketing & Digital Strategy

Mary-Anne is engaged in an ongoing consulting capacity to drive Marketing & Digital Strategy, as the Digital Campaign Manager for ROC Eyewear. Every season we review past season performance and create the Campaign Calendar to support key launches, seasonal events and drive brand engagement. This strategy is then rolled out by the internal team, as well as the Wise Up Ads Specialist team.

Mary-Anne oversees competitions and collaborations to strategically grow each brand.

Team Mentoring

Mary-Anne works closely with the in-house junior marketing and design teams, to mentor and also ensure outputs stay on strategy. This has involved implementing monthly reporting processes and monthly meetings to ensure the objective is to always learn and improve.

Photoshoot Planning & Coordination

As part of guiding strategy we also coordinate seasonal photo shoots for the brands. From location to styling, talent sourcing and execution working with our photography partners Heist Creative.

Social & Google Ads

We run Meta and Google ads with a goal to further improve conversions and traffic. We conduct regular optimisations to achieve a high ROAS, including data-driven targeting and regular asset updates to deliver the best possible ad results. We have seen dramatic improvements in the last 12 months by implementing Advantage+ and PMax campaigns leveraging AI more effectively.

The Results

There’s nothing we love more than a client win! Recently we’ve helped ROC achieve new heights in their digital marketing.

With a strategic improvement to the ROC marketing approach we were able to grow sales 5% in the 2H 2023 vs 1H 2023, this was during an extremely tough economic climate.

In December 2023, we increased Google revenue and conversions 44% and 43% respectively compared to the previous month and increased the return-on-ad-spend (ROAS) by 29.48%.

Month on month, we achieve a 71% growth in conversions through a strategic campaign optimisations.

In December 2023, we also increased Meta revenue and conversions 23% and 31% respectively compared to previous month.

In mid September 2023, we implemented a new Advantage+ campaign, leveraging new release products from Meta and AI learning. The new Advantage+ campaign alone was able to bring in more conversions than all the other enabled campaigns combined. Upon implementation, it resulted in a +60% increase in conversions. +58% increase in visibility and +94% increase in clicks MoM.
