As this an audio-only platform it has been compared to a podcast, except Clubhouse works is in real-time. You enter each room as an audience member, but if you want to talk you raise your virtual hand, and the speakers can choose to invite you up. If you like, you can create a room of your own and be the host. It’s a place to meet with friends, and new people around the world—to tell stories, ask questions, debate, learn, and have impromptu conversations on thousands of different topics.

Major celebs like Drake, Ashton Kutcher, Oprah and many others have enjoyed the exclusiveness of the app before it is opened to the public. Business owners and entrepreneurs are also using the app to host educational talks and share their inspiring stories.
